Dwyane Wade missed the Bulls game against the Timberwolves on Sunday after sustaining an injury to his right wrist. During the previous game against the Phoenix Suns, Dwyane Wade fell on both wrists during the second half. On Sunday, Wade has X-rays taken, and fortunately, the X-rays were negative.
Wade stated that he is quite a bit of pain. According to Wade, his left wrist was hurting first and then the right one began hurting the most. Before Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves, Wade’s right wrist was swollen.
According to Wade, he knows that something is not quite right with either wrist. Wade also stated that he is not able to bend his right wrist. Wade wants to have an MRI once he makes it back to Chicago. He wants the MRI to be on his right hand more than he wants to have it on his right wrist.
Wade is hoping that he will be able to play before the All-Star break, which is actually in a few days. Wade is no stranger to injuries; he has played through a significant amount of injuries in his career. Wade was not able to play on Sunday, but once it becomes manageable to play with the right wrist injury, Wade stated that he will play. As of right now, he is not able to play because he cannot bend the wrist.
Wade recently experienced one of his best seasons in years, and this is part of the reason why he was given a contract offer from the Bulls. The Bulls had a great start to the season, but they have recently dropped in the standings. If Dwyane Wade has to miss more time due to his wrist injury, the Bulls will likely see that slide continue, especially with Jimmy Butler’s heel injury.
